1. Shipping Rates & Costs

Standard Shipping: A flat rate of $14.99 USD applies to orders under $150 USD.
Free Shipping: We offer Free Shipping on all orders totaling $150 USD or more.

Taxes: All applicable sales taxes will be calculated and displayed at checkout based on your delivery address.

2. Order Processing & Transit Time

Our goal is to get your solar lights to your doorstep as quickly as possible. Please note the following timeframes:

Order Cut-off Time: 2 PM (GMT-05:00) Eastern Standard Time (New York).
Order Handling Time: 1 - 3 Business Days (Monday to Friday).
Transit Time: 5 - 8 Business Days (Monday to Friday).

Note: Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

3. Order Tracking

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can track your package directly through our Order Tracking page on our website, powered by Parcel Panel.

4. Delivery Partners

We partner with reliable carriers to ensure safe delivery of your solar wall lanterns, security lights, and decor, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

5. Shipping Damages

Light Garden Decor takes great care in packaging our products. However, if your order arrives damaged (e.g., broken glass or cracked solar panels), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@lightgardendecor.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange a replacement at no extra cost to you.

1. Return Window

You have 30 days from the date you received your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping

Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning items unless the product is defective or the wrong item was sent.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon reception (especially solar panels and glass components). Contact us immediately at support@lightgardendecor.com if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

5. Cancellations and Exchanges

Cancellations: You may request to cancel your order within 1 day (24 hours) of placing it for unfulfilled items. Please email us at support@lightgardendecor.com.
Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item, please send us an email at support@lightgardendecor.com.

6. Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return.

If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method (Shopify Payments) within 5 to 7 business days.
Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

7. Restocking Fees

We do not charge any restocking fees.

8. Non-Returnable Items

We provide a 1-Year Limited Warranty on all our solar lighting products (including Solar Wall Lanterns, Solar Security Lights, Decorative Path Lights, and Solar String Lights) starting from the date of delivery.

2. What Is Covered?

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the warranty period. It strictly applies to the following operational components:

Solar Panels: Failure to collect energy or transfer charge to the battery.
LED Bulbs: Premature burnout or failure to illuminate.
Motion & Dusk-to-Dawn Sensors: Complete loss of functional sensitivity.
Internal Circuitry: Defective wiring or factory assembly issues.

3. What Is NOT Covered?

This limited warranty does not cover any damage or malfunction caused by:

Improper installation, misuse, abuse, or neglect.
Physical damage resulting from accidental drops, impacts, or vandalism.
Unauthorized modifications, alterations, or self-repairs attempted on the product.
Natural disasters, extreme weather events exceeding product ratings (e.g., hurricanes, lightning strikes), or fires.
Normal wear and tear over time, including minor surface scratches or natural color fading of housing materials.
Batteries that have reached the end of their typical lifespan due to standard usage cycles.

4. Warranty Remedies

If a valid claim is received within the 1-year warranty period, Light Garden Decor will, at its discretion, choose one of the following solutions:

Replace: Replace the defective item with a brand-new, identical product.
Repair: Provide specific replacement parts (such as a new solar panel or bulb string) to restore full functionality.
Refund/Store Credit: Issue a refund or store credit equal to the original purchase price if the item is permanently out of stock.

5. How to Initiate a Warranty Claim

To request warranty service, please follow these steps:

Step 2: Provide your Order ID, product name, and a clear description of the issue.
Step 3: Attach a short video or photographic evidence clearly demonstrating the technical malfunction.

Our support team will review your case within 2–3 business days and provide further instructions on whether a physical return of the defective item is required.

6. Shipping Costs

Within 30 Days of Delivery: If a defect occurs within the first 30 days of receiving your order, Light Garden Decor will cover all shipping costs related to the replacement or repair.
After 30 Days: After the initial 30-day window, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs to return the defective unit to our warehouse (if requested), while we will cover the shipping cost of sending the replacement unit back to you.

Except as provided in this warranty and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Light Garden Decor is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, or under any other legal theory.
