Fiberglass Resin (sometimes called polyresin) is a composite material made from liquid resin which is molded into shape and strengthened with spun glass called fiberglass. The finished product has outstanding detail (it can pickup a human fingerprint) as well as durability.  Fiberglass items have natural weight to them, and certain items are weighted at the base to avoid blowing over. Fiberglass items should be sealed to prevent U.V rays from fading the color, this will extend the life of the piece. Any type of clear outdoor spray sealer can be used. Items that hold water should be brought in during freezing months to avoid damage to the piece.
